     Well Inflow Performance Relationships
     Crude Oil P-V-T relationships
     Computing Required Pump Capacity

Day Two - Rod System Components

     Pumping Units
     Prime Movers
     Sucker Rods
     Subsurface Pumps
     Tubing Achors
     Downhole Gas Separators

Day Three - Design of Rod Installations

     NABLA Method (wave equation) for equipment selection
     NABLA Method (wave equation) for deviated wells

Day Four - Analysis of Existing Rod Installations

     Interpretation of surface and pump dynamometer cards
     Structure Loading
     Gearbox Loading and Unit Balance
     Rod Loading
     Determination of Producing Pressure with Dynamometer and fluid level

Day Five - Other activities

     Fieldtrip to perform on-site analysis of pumping well
     Classroom problem solving
     Optional problems suggested by students
